This week is a pretty busy week, w/ drama, summer program application, and schoolwork. However, as the week approaches to the end, it also gets more necessary to sum this week up.

Monday

Well, Monday is usually the hardest to recall. BUT, with my new diary-and-note-taking system, I can easily “copy” the entry and keep as accurate as possible.

Well today we had Headmaster breakfast at Ihop with Mr. Loper and Mr. Belk. The breakfast is really fun and we chatted on all subjects. We started by observing how many freshmen and sophomores here on the list, and then we found out all the juniors that are on the headmaster list are girls. And we soon went to the discussion of which gender is at more advantage, boys or girls. Mr. Belk said both genders have their advantages, but girls are probably doing better in high school coz they are more careful. But in colleges, probably there are more boys than girls. And then we went to the life crashes, and it is something not decided by urself but instead the fate, or the work of God. And he gave an example of his marriage with Mrs. Belk, which is totally out of expectations, coz Mrs. Belk already had boyfriend by then, bur because of the life crashes, he married her. And then just discussion about family, parents(like the family meal). And we went back to school at 10:10.

Mr. Belk is pretty easygoing, much more easygoing than 99.9% of Chinese headmasters. Probably because we have a small school, so it is possible for the headmaster to memorize all the students’ names and talk with them. However, in most Chinese schools, the headmaster can not memorize all thousands of students’ names, not to mention talking with each student. But there are also differences in the education as well. In China, headmaster is more like administrator and is not set to be close to students.

And the African slavery sermon is done also at this day. Also for this reason, though I had missed two sessions, I did not really miss the classes coz we were revising paper in humanities, and I had a free the second.

Tuesday

There is something BIG happened on Tuesday, but let’s us first go through other things.

We have a light meeting w/ Mr. Whipple, finally! We put all lights down, and then hung them on the pole. While moving the lights, we even triggered the fire alarm, and it definitely scared a lot of casts. But nevertheless, we made a huge progress.

And the untold story is….

Wednesday

It is already a long entry up till now and I decide to write less a little bit. Having daily notes is really helpful.
Wednesday we also did a lot of things for lights, and we also had a meeting with Billan about summer plan.
The meeting is about 1 hour long and in order to finish my hw, I sated up until 1 am again.

Thursday

Sorry I am going to skip Thursday as it is a pretty normal day. But I finished the essay that day.

About my diary entry….

As u may notice, I am keep changing my form of diary entry. From a note taking software’s website, to a PDF, and then to a blog website. There are also a lot of changes of the form of the diary weekly summary and the writing style. These are visible, but there are also invisible changes about how to manage my entries from 2021(though I did not write every week at that time) and how to publish it to readers in China and in the US. Also btw, there are two different groups of readers, and the content u read may vary. So only me have the full version.
And now, after some experiences, I decide to use TOWN (Tiddlywiki+Obsidian+Wordpress+Nicegram) to write, manage, and publish my entires. U don’t need to care about the details, and just… enjoy reading!
