By using the Site, subscribing, or creating a membership, you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy.

1. The publication

hax429's blog is a personal, independent publication. Content includes writing, translation, and related commentary. It is provided as-is for reading and, if you opt in, email delivery.

2. Accounts and email

You may subscribe at https://blog.hax429.me/#/portal/signup.

You confirm that:

  • the email address is yours
  • you want to receive membership and/or newsletter mail from this Site
  • you will not subscribe other people without their permission

I send:

  • Transactional messages triggered by your actions (confirmations, magic links, membership notices)
  • Newsletters only to addresses collected through this Site’s own signup flow

I do not send unsolicited mail and I do not use purchased or scraped lists.

You may unsubscribe at any time via the link in the email or at https://blog.hax429.me/#/portal/account. I will honor that request promptly.

3. Acceptable use

You may not use the Site to spam, harass, impersonate others, probe or disrupt the service, or post content that is illegal or that you do not have the right to post. I may suspend a membership or remove comments that violate these terms.

4. Intellectual property

Unless a post says otherwise, Site content is owned by me or used with permission. You may share links. You may not copy, scrape, or republish substantial content without permission, except where fair use or similar law allows it.

Comments you submit remain yours; you grant me a non-exclusive license to display them on the Site.

5. No professional advice

Posts are personal writing. They are not legal, financial, medical, or professional advice.

6. Availability

I may change, pause, or stop the Site or the newsletter at any time. I am not liable for downtime, delayed email, or spam-folder placement.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Site is provided “as is,” without warranties. I am not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or email. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits; in that case they apply only as far as the law allows.

8. Paid memberships (if offered)

If a paid tier exists, the price, billing interval, and benefits will be shown at signup. Fees are processed by the payment provider configured in Ghost. Refunds, if any, follow that provider’s rules and whatever is stated at checkout. Free subscribers are not charged.

9. Privacy

Personal data is handled as described in https://blog.hax429.me/privacy/. Email delivery uses Mailgun.

10. Changes

I may update these terms by posting a new version on this page. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated terms.
