This week is the mid term exam week, and it’s my first experience of the exams in America.

To start with, both American school and Chinese school stress the importance of being academically honest, and address that there is no point for cheating. However, there are still some of differences between the two schools. It is much stricter in Chengdu No.7 High School than in America, and we even used metal detector for the monthly exams. In here, however, the teachers will never search your body that if you have anything on you. And in extreme cases like during Euclid contests, the teacher even does not care if you have your phone with you.

And during the Spanish exam, which is quite fun, because one classmate’s phone keeps ringing, Mr. Gonzalez can not bear it anymore and asked each of us to open our backpack and turn off the phone. So it China, if your phone rings, it is considered cheating. And you will never have the opportunity to touch your phone and do whatever the operations on the phone.

I think part of reasons is that the American kids really do not regard the exams as the only thing in their life, and they have an easy heart with it. Really, it made no sense to cheat.

Also, I am changing a new note and diary software, and meanwhile I am going to publish the diary to my blog. A brand new experience.

Ok, back to the exams, I think I am actually doing ok and wish good luck in the following chemistry exam. It is about to start an 18-day Christmas vacation, and I have already been asked what my favorite Christmas music is!
