Monday
In today’s panel, Daliya, Naomi, Nina, and Anya talked about their experiences, thoughts and reflections as a Christian with Jewish roots. They talked about how they were alienated from the Jewish community but the event on Oct 7th had an impact on all Jews. When. they were talking, I am also thinking about what life is like for Jews in China? There are still some Jewish towns but a lot of them lost traces in history. I still remember one of my history teachers proudly telling us that China is the only country where Jews don't have a clear identity; they all blend in Chinese. I still don't know if it is a good thing or not, but what I do know is that many people do not know anything about Jews in China and thus follow media news about Jews. And I think today's panel is really helpful for me to understand more about Jews.
Also, I got the yearbook. Gonna ask more ppl, especially seniors, to sign it.
Wednesday
Wednesday we had awards chapel, and I got mathematics awards (yay) Another good thing is that all the seniors came back to BTA.
And then Trinity Institute Party. It is really getting close to the end of school year, and I will really miss the seniors. Though Alexi is a little bit too ambiguious, but I agree that BTA will not be like the BTA in this year: it will still be good, but all the seniors are speical and unique. They make BTA speical in their own way, in Class 2024's way.
Thursday
Today is the last day before the exam, and senior room is already empty most of the time. But I will review today. Bye!
Friday
Today I watched a really interesting video about physics. It talks about how the coincide in the world is incredible, and how lucky we are to be able to use science to explore and admire the great work of God. We are just too lucky to be born in a three-dimensional world and be able to understand how great the world He created is. It also reminds me that with all the computers human created, we can only roughly predict 4 water molecules for less than one second. However, there are between 1078 to 1082atoms in the observable universe alone, and all atoms work in a way that perfectly follow the physics laws but at the same time instatneously. It is a really good video that combines science and theology (though he does not mention theology), and the more you know about science, the more you understand that at the end of science is theology, and science is a way for humans to worship God and understand God's power.
