Monday
No school. I am now really busy with AP exams. 4 APs, crazy. And it is really easy to forget something.
Tuesday
Today we dress up as twins, but it is literally just a dress down day and everyone can just wear anything u want. (Appropriate, said Mr. G)
And we had tennis against Gann, and I played. We at least won one game
Wednesday
Today we have the semifinal for declamation, and all the participants did an incredible job in performing their selection of passage. I found out Ailish is really suitbale for doing some “evil” roles – her tone of saying things in contempt and catelessness is so vivid. Also Ilinca performed the story really well, she was just like the storyteller. Xavior did the part of prayer in Hamlet, and he did just as good as, or even better, than the play. It just reminded me of the time we spent on drama – that is another thing, though. Anyway, it is really good, and it is definitely worth being in chapel for all these 55 min.
Thursday
Actually, I haven’t really explored outside BTA until the last period today. It maight not be regarded as “well taken care of”, but it is definitely enough for 3 sophomores to spend 20 minites to explore. It is also sufficient for one to get Lyme Disease, and I searched it up and it also exists in China, and I thought it was leech. But anyway, it is a good free period.
Friday
Today we had Field Day, and hoy hay no clase. Field Day we play games dor house, and the winner can get a “tremendous” gift from school – a dress dowb day that can last for 7 hours, and it is already enough for a lot of BTA students. What I think is interesting actually has nothing to do with the field day itself, so just see the next journal. We also have coffee house, the last coffee house in the year, and everyone did so well.

Some random thoughts from house systems:
To begin with, this passage does not mean to target anyone (it is definitely beyond reality, you may consider it exaggeration), and it is only soke random thinking from a sophomore after dinner, so just read it for fun.
Human beings are strange. They can be so greatly influenced that they can not do anything to stop it. In each house, there is actually no initial common identity. But soon, the group without any solid foundation starts to unite, and fight against other groups. It shows how easy groups and division can be made and utilized in this society. U might say it is too exaggerated, and the house system in BTA is just for fun and it motivates people while cultivating leadership. It is true. But field day only lasts for one day in a 200-student school which students already inew each other. What is in society, and this is likely to happen, people don’t know each other? And what if the competition is not only 1 day, but 10 years without “faculty” maintaining the rule? And what if people don’t have a bond, such as Christianity, to conncect and understand each other? Just think of how fast and efficient Hitler did to all people, and once started, it is hard to stop the trend.
